Hypertension Qigong

Facts about hypertension (high blood pressure):

Hypertension is a common condition in which the pressure of a person’s blood against their artery walls is consistently too high. This condition may lead to severe health problems such as heart disease, stroke, and death.

This webinar will discuss the qigong perspective to understanding the causes of hypertension and ways to manage the condition.

  • Causes of hypertension

  • The body’s central energy line

  • The body’s Yīn and Yáng elements

  • How to lower hypertension (mentally and physically)


Qigong Categories

Qigong is any practice relating to the human body's Qi (internal energy). It can range from sitting meditation to high intensity physical activity. Qigong practice can be categorized into 5 groups according to the primary purpose in training.

  1. Maintaining Health (preventing illness and injury)

  2. Curing Sickness (and ailments)

  3. Prolonging Life

  4. Martial Arts

  5. Spiritual Enlightenment

  • Meeting ID, password, and details will be emailed on Thursday, April 22nd.
